DSL sucks!

If you can, try cable, and don't believe the negatives the DSL providers will give to you about cable, ie; less security, slower, blah blah blah..

I am using DSL 1.5Mb/sec and my connection speed is actually in the 160-366 kb/sec. No where near the 1.5 megabits they advertise.

My brother, only a block away, uses cable, and using the below service, he averages 1.5 - 2.0Mb/sec (megabits per second)

If DSL is your only choice, then go with it, however, if you have cable in your area, check it out first.

Test speed here:
msn.zdnet.com

(don't use the ISP's speedtest service, it does not give you a real life connection speed test)
