I live in the Silicon Valley megalopolis. There are parts of that article I would question. The "hard worker" part for one. OTOH, I may not have a representative sample- -I'm an engineer. I suspect that group has more than its share of workaholics.

What Gore missed that for a great many people, the last election was about character and morality. If he did nothing else, he had to throw Slick overboard. He didn't.
