My apology was not an act of courage, but an act of compromise. I made an intemperate remark and apologized for it.
it is an act of courage because you have to come to terms with what you are acknowledging and then come out and say so publicly without fear as to what the reaction may be.

i understand that you arrived at a compromise and decided to do so with GZ, such is your decision and that is the end.
as an explanation to why i put CAPS in one of my comments: this simply meant to give emphasis to the fact that in my opinion the person who you apologized to did not deserve it. again, that is my opinion.

i wonder... what are those posts that he refers to or why are they an insult to his grandfather's heritage ? he did not show proof of anything, he merely made the statement.
