Remember... the Waco tragedy had started BEFORE Clinton was inaugurated.

I can see the Clinton Administration putting things in motion that will bring about another Waco type incident right before G.W. takes office. It would be a perfect "tit for tat" message to George Bush Sr. from Bill Clinton.

If Congress holds up Ashcroft's nomination, this means that the "holdovers" from the Clinton Administration will be handling the crisis.

If John Ashcroft were the AG when and if this happens, he would personally go there and bring about a peaceful solution. I can't help but wonder if THIS is the real reason that Ashcroft's nomination is going to be challenged.

Remember, during Waco, William Sessions, the Director of the FBI, was physically prevented by Federal Officers on orders from Clinton, from going to Waco. I wonder if Sessions will finally tell the story of what really happened at Waco. I KNOW he was responsible for records being taken from the FBI building so they would not be shredded. I wonder who has these records now?

Maybe by exposing the plan at the Indianapolis Baptist Temple before it gets off the ground; it can be stopped and we will NOT start this new millennium with another Waco!
