NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 9, 2001--deltathree, Inc.,
(Nasdaq:DDDC.O), the IP communications network and provider of Hosted
Communications Solutions for service providers worldwide, today
announced the launch of its comprehensive broadband initiative. This
innovative service offering, which allows users to centralize all
their communications through a single broadband Internet connection,
is entering trials with nine broadband service providers.
deltathree will offer broadband service providers the ability to
sell a private label offering to their own customer bases, giving
their end users the ability to plug a regular telephone into a
broadband connection and make a standard phone call with all the
benefits broadband provides. This means that not only will deltathree
provide traditional phone capabilities such as in and outbound
calling, call waiting, caller ID and voicemail, but it will also
enable users to benefit from the convergence of their phone and
computer by providing faxing, unified messaging and enhanced PC
functionality. All calls will be routed over deltathree's
award-winning Voice over Internet Protocol network.
"deltathree's comprehensive broadband offering enables service
providers to meet their customers' demand for high quality
communication at a reasonable cost," said Noam Bardin, President and
CEO of deltathree. "In addition, our hosted back office capabilities
enable service providers to seamlessly and easily integrate the
addition into their product set."
deltathree's hosted broadband service presents a distinct
advantage over similar services because it can be integrated with any
hardware configuration used by a service provider. deltathree also
provides all the back office services necessary to support a complete
hosted solution including customer service, billing and
infrastructure.
The introduction of broadband service is the latest Hosted
Communication offering from deltathree. Through its Hosted
Communication Solution, deltathree allows businesses to offer
telephony services to their customers, under their own brands, to
broaden their product offering and strengthen customer loyalty. Recent
Hosted Communications deals for deltathree include NextCard (NASDAQ:
NXCD), easyEverything, Rhinos and NITEL.
