Smaller buys, not necessarily small buyers. That short burst of buying (just my guess) was a mm buying in in small orders, possibly through different houses. They often do this to hide the fact that a mm is buying so momentun players don't jump. After they finish buying they anounce their position, others bring the price up and they slide out of their position. By this scenario we will probably see a few more bursts in the nex few days. This was how Vinik moved into htch.
