Not before, after. The rule of thumb analyst rule is my adoption of the 80/20 rule on being right. ie..if they were all upgrades, there would be a bunch of bottom left for that stock and this sector. But the rule of thumb 80/20 rule of analyst calls; tells me that 80% of them downgrades are wrongly timed.
