Mark - To set the record straight: I have in my files a news release from April 11, 1995 which states: Flashback is the first recorder that utilizes solid state, non-mechanical flash memory technology. The word "removable" is NOT in that sentence. Your original statement is correct - even though the Flashback does use "removable" flash memory. We have someone posting here who IS NOT a shareholder, IS NOT an employee (and has never been), and who for several years has diligently bashed the Woody Norris companies - EDIG and PTSC. Rather peculiar, don't you think???? Betty
