Gottfried, around the 30th of November I posted that I expect the semi-equip to have a nice rally into the first or second week in January a gain of roughly 50% from the then recent lows. Well, we are in the second weeks of January and most of these stocks have indeed had that 50% rally, I believe that it is time to take chips off the table. This rally may extend with "fits and starts" until the next FOMC meeting on January 30th, but I would not count on it. I personally have only one semi-euip (bought today at 443 hoping for another run to $47/$49) and may play few additional short term runs like that, but I will be stepping aside before 2:15 PM on the 31th.
