I really do hate getting mean. It seems like I've been doing that forever, and I'm too good at it. It's not good for me. I'm afraid it will make me like them. But our Democratic tolerance is impotent, and so sometimes it seems necessary.
you don't have to be mean, just be patient and smarter than the members of the pigpen. that is all.
the truth about the current Republican party is very simple, for a period of about 15 plus years the religious right has taken over that party. they still have not gotten full control, but they are quite close to do so.
don't make the same mistake they are doing in simply generalizing and accepting that ALL Republicans or ALL Conservatives are like them.
there are good people amongst the Connservatives, and indeed some of them are very bright. they have good ideas.
the problem arises when extremists take control of things, and then they proceed to polarize everything in sight. then everything becomes a shouting match and NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING gets done.
i am NOT a Republican, but i can not say i am a Democrat. in truth, i have no political association. but i am certainly NOT anything resembling a right-winger.
give it time, once most people learn what these bastards are all about they will get rid of them.
