Mis:

If it's 2%, then why doesn't it show up in the earnings?

Nor is the company guiding anybody to higher numbers, by the way, which one might expect if there were some downstream "kick-in-at-higher-volume" add-ons in the agreements. I think they have settled for peanuts and said as little as possible so they can continue to sell off their stock.

No one, and I mean no one, is able to do anything but lower prices for memory in the current glut. Memory pricing is an ongoing disaster.

Finally, show me any place within the entire PC industry where there is any interest in or demand for this product? To reiterate,... servers and routers, yes, but the big numbers are in the PCs. Just as an example, I spoke today with a big white box producer. He hasn't produced a single Rdram PC in the past 12 months! Not one! And check out the Dell ads. Notice any big song and dance about Rdram-equipped PCs? Compare their ads last year to this year to see what has occurred.

Someone has to sell this product before there can be any profits.

Best, Earlie
