France Telecom denied acquiring MobileOne

(Infocast News) It was reported earlier that Orange, a mobile telecom operator in the UK, was negotiating with Pacific Century CyberWorks (0008) and Cable & Wireless for acquiring a total of 30% stake in MobileOne, a Singaporean company, from the two companies. However, Michel Bon, Chairman of France Telecom, the parent company of Orange, said yesterday that the report was not factual.
