It's a very dangerous philosophy which presumes that 40 years can be rolled off the calendar as easily as switching the channel from In Living Color to Father Knows Best. The lack of rationality in the idea is the reason I strongly suggest that it, and it's whole premise of eliminating the contributions of the baby boom generation, are theological in origin. There may be some well meaning but naive members who think they will get the old ways with none of the old warts.
