fellowship. I gave my mentor


-opinion
-circumstantial evidence.
-I quoted books, as evidence, ( not realizing that books 
     are  based on original articles research material which    
     can   sometimes be interpreted in various way be different   
     book authors).

So his answer was the same: 

      " Where is the original article? "
      " Did you read it? "



You'll be surprised ( I was ), how often book material was
based on inadequate, poorly interpreted studies.
Sometimes books where not up to date.

We learned to always examine

" original evidence ".
"Go to, and interpret the source ".
"Do your own interpretation ".

This BTW is "the Harvard method ", where he trained...vbg.

He was an SOB hard to get along with, but unfortunately he was always
right...and there was nothing you could do
about it....except do exactly as he told you....
