While U R free 2 disagree w/me, RH, U R speaking of George Sr only while he was IN office. It would appear you did not keep up with his gold price bashing alliance with Munk and Indonesian Govt' Suharto lobbying during the heyday of derivative gold paper getting under full steam...all AFTER George Sr left office...and the subject was Bre-x. BTW...we'll learn in less than 55 days just how environmentally friendly Georgy Jr. is...Clinton's just set aside millions and millions of PRIME mining land, out here in the west as a last hurrah just before he leaves office. Bushy Jr. only has 60 days from the date last week when Clinton set aside those acreages to "Undo" it. I'm fervently hoping he will. Makes me madder 'n hell just to discuss this latest Clinton sticking it to us live off the land types, who do it responsibly...leaving it better than we found it due to our restoration practices when we are "done" with the mineral extractions. O/49r
