There may be some Fundamentalists who try to coerce belief, though I don't know any. All of the Evangelicals that I have known hold freedom of conscience sacred, and would be horrified at the idea of forcing belief. As far as I know, there is no extremist wing of the Republican Party, all members are committed to Constitutional norms........
