I have asked cold call brokers about MERCS and they all reply that it is a money loser. None are aware that it has turned profitable because it is not followed.
My opinion is that it will draw more attention when something like $.75 replaces the -$1.70 for the December quarter of 1999. This should be reported mid February. This will give a TTM EPS of about + $1.83. Then suddenly it should draw some attention. In May the TTM EPS should bounce to about $2.60 with more gradual improvement as the other startup quarters are replaced. These numbers are mine based on elimination of process bottle necks and inefficiencies.
