am I allowed to nominate EMC as a gorilla for SAN? Certainly. It's just that no one on this thread has been able to describe EMC's proprietary architecture. It seems to the casual onlooker to be one of first mover advantage to SAN, outexecution, spectacular customer service, and high R&D. These qualities fit more with Royalty, which is why this thread has tradtionally thought of EMC as a King. Can you describe and a make a case for proprietary architecture held by EMC? Apollo
