I have to apologise since I meant FALLING WEDGE, not FLAG, regardless it is still long. Lower trendline starting at the early AUG trough, and the upper trendline starting early SEPT.

The following example of a FALLING WEDGE was several months in length. The slope on this one does seem to be a bit deep though.

I guess one way to look at it is that if that trend channel continues down, hypothetically it will hit ZERO, so eventually somewhere it has to change upwards. Keep in mind that the NAZ/NDX did produce a HIGHER LOW, just waiting for a HIGHER HIGH for more confirmation of possible trend change.
