JRI and Thread: One of my clients reports that a discussion board used by brokers has an item that SanDisk is the object of a takeover at $53 by Triquint (TQNT). I have found nothing so far that would confirm such an offer, and even if the offer were genuine, I believe it would never be accepted. Anyhow, that's the rumor, for what it's worth.

Note: When the price is so obviously low, given the rapidly increasing demand for SNDK products, we can expect the some company will try to acquire it, or take a significant position.
