Ali, Therefore, there must be something else besides the larger die area. That "something" is the cost of manufacturing of these RIMMs to unbearably high tolerances. This cost differential will remain high no matter what, so RDRAM will be always at significant cost disadvantage while delivering no performance differences. No, it is something else. PROFIT. John
