Oh my God, Yhoo only made a little over 80 million last quarter which met expectations. But they think they might make a tad less this year.

Punish that Yhoo stock and sink your money in AMZN, a real winner.

So the thought process goes like this.
Yahoo didn't do that bad, in fact they did ok.
But since they only met expectations and didn't exceed them and predict revenues may go down in the future, I'm afraid investor B is going to sell on this news, so I sell, as well as investor B who is afraid I will sell.

And in a couple of days Yhoo will do whatever the market does and this sell off won't mean anything. The fundamentals will still be the same but Yahoo will probably go up, and that is the gambling game we play on Wall Street.
