Hi JP,

Sad to hear you have not had much experience with Sudbury area geology. I was counting on you.

By the way, in a recent summary of properties by NWI, they discussed their latest thinking on Lac Rocher. It appears to be almost exactly as your surmised before they started their heavy drilling campaign. It appears they now believe it was a remnant although don't call it such. Your good call and reading that great NWI thread on SI saved me from any loss.

Unfortunately I know little about Sudbury area geology. However, the following lines from ARP's NR are interesting...
<<< At present, one rig is operating on the Foy project and is drilling the second hole of a three-hole program designed for a downhole geophysical survey. The three holes which are collared north of significant Cu-Ni-PGM mineralization discovered by Aurora in the Foy offset dike, are being drilled over a strike length of 500 metres and to a depth of 800 metres. Although the three holes are strictly designed as part of a downhole geophysical survey, a number of pods, lenses, and vein of both disseminated and massive sulphide have been intersected in both hole one and two. >>>

That plus a description of the their geophysical anomaly is like waving a red flag in front of a bull. My ears really perk and I start breathing hard. Could this be a situation similar to what Inco encountered at Totten?? Might ARP be looked at a rich embayment type deposit along the contact?? Does it make sense or is it hype??

As always, it boils down to the people and geology. Unfortunately I know neither so have been digging with mixed results. Bottomline... at this point I've no fixed opinion either way.

However, you mention MSK. Followed that one closely earlier this year but stayed out. All considered, I'd rather bet on the greenstone belts within Ontario and Quebec and/or properties closer to existing infrastructure. And if I'm to bet a few high risk holes on an anomaly, think I'd choose something around Sudbury and ARP, rather than MSK and Nunavut. And after watching and comparing, think I'd place more confidence in ARP management than MSK.... so on that basis, I find ARP very interesting and am in for a modest amount. The question is how much more to go.

Hope we have some Sudbury area geo's around. Would be nice to get their thoughts... pro or con.

Bob
