Speaking of narajas, I did some work recently on the impact of rising fertilizer costs to ag commodities. Something like 16-18% of the cost of citrus is comprised of fertilizer. You may or may not be aware that the production of nitrogenous fertilizer in NA is coming to stand still because 80% of the cost of urea/ammonia is the cost of NG. Making these products now is like burning money, and only much, much, much higher prices of fertilizer will make it even break even feasible. And the world can not go without NA fertilizer production. There is not enough spare capacity anywhere. The biggest influences will be on corn, cotton, banans, citrus, and palm oil. Not for a while, of course, but next growing season.
