William, it should be noted that IOM counts Zips sold as "sold all the way through" - sold when the box sells. In a earlier conversation with IOM, this is how I interpreted their remarks. A "Zip sold" does not include Zips sold to OEMs for inclusion in their boxes, i.e., OEMs could have already ordered 500K to 750K more Zips for inclusion, but this would not be counted by IOM until the box actually sells. This is a very conservative method of counting Zips sold, but, then again, IOM is watching its Ps and Qs. No, IOM is not fooling anyone, if anything, they're being too conservative in their counting in my opinion by using the "sell through" method versus the "sell in".
