Scott, Funny you should mention TCOMA - I just got in near their low and am enjoying the bounce! I agree that Malone appears to have a fetish for complicating corporate structures instead of increasing shareholder value but for the time being I've made out nicely. "For the successful IPOs, there is still lots of $$$ to be made in investing in the company as the legitimate business proves itself and the stock price establishes a trading history." I couldn't agree more. If I ever do buy @HOME it will be 6mos-1yr from now when there is a backlash against the high share price that I feel is inevitable. Once it settles into a reasonable valuation and satellite and telecom competition sorts itself out then I may buy. As for UMG, it looks great (and thanks to Paul for pointing it out too!). Much nicer balance sheet than TCOMA. My only concern is that it is trading at 52wk highs at the moment. If I had heeded your advice a month ago... Is there a compelling reason to get into UMG at this time or should I wait for dips in price? (I have bookmarked UMG thread and am catching up on past links!) Thanks for the reply, John
