JF, <``We saw benchmarks for HP's new Superdome server,'' Merrill Lynch analyst Thomas Kraemer said, referring to tests that determine the performance of the machines. ``The benchmarks for Superdome were tepid.''> Currently those Superdome servers use PA-RISC 8600 CPUs (550 MHz, 1.5M cache). Yet the architecture is slated to move to IA-64 in the future. I'm sure those benchmarks will start looking a LOT better once the migration to McKinley takes place. Tenchusatsu
