I am, I fear, not much of a leftie where cats are concerned- or any other feral animals that are a nuisance. Endangered animals need our protection- but I would destroy excess cats. They are an unnecessary nuisance created by human society- like rats (which I actually like more than cats). If they were endangered I'd get excited- and for endangered exotic cats I would even do something. But not for nuisance feral house cats. Or feral dogs either, for that matter. Perhaps we can agree to disagree on this.
