Ray that was a good article and somewhere in this mess is a very truth filled positive action of what can be done for the future to limit any negative affects on humanity.

To me it is ridiculous that in the SI valley they are buying generators without looking into solar panels as another source of energy ie recharging batteries

On the light side: To me this was funny, my Moms youthful room mate has it all figured out. If his electric bills go up he is going to run his small generator on gas which will cost him about 5.OO a day. His electric bill is about 60.00 a month now add 40% which is very high and you have more than covered max increase. What made me really laugh is he had convinced all his neighbors this was the way to keep cost down. The couple next door to him took his advice and bought a new generator.
