Yes,
I remember reading up on ServerNet last summer. It is not Fibre Channel.
It is Tandem's newer technology that helps smaller computers do 'clustering' easier and cheaper. I believe it may be software.

ServerNet, along with Tandem's/Windows Wofpack API, will help the Intel-PC world in its ultimate quest to be more 'reliable' and 'scalable'.
I believe some OEMs are already supporting ServerNet.

From an interview with SQNTs CEO Powell at their Web Site, he states, "I think ServerNet is good stuff. We've talked to Tandem about using it,
and I think we will become a customer for it."

However, I remember asking John Aldridge recently about whether Sequent may use Tandems ServerNet
with their NUMA-Q (I had already read the Powell interview)and he made it sound very unlikely.
It confused me to say the least...

So, it seems entirely possible that ServerNet and Fibre Channel will be working together. They
are very different things.

ALL IMHO
