thread, while trying to uninstall an older version of norton systemworks from my win95 machine today, the uninstall (using the windows add/remove program) was not successful. maybe someone here can offer some help. the error message i got was an Uninst.exe dialog with the message.... ******************************** "UninstallShield could not start--Process was not created: %1 is not a valid Win32 application. C:\WINDOWS\Uninst.exe" ****************************** upon closing that dialog, there was another one behind it that said.... ******************************** "Norton CleanSweep is partially uninstalled. The UninstallShield portion of the CleanSweep Uninstall did not complete." ********************************** when searching for this file, uninst.exe, i found it but under 'properties' it has size at 0 bytes. any thoughts, insights for me? :) mark
