Transcendence can be a beautiful thing. Perhaps even the essence of liberation. Sure there must be plenty of politicians who are too bland to be assholes, yet not so faceless as to be complete creeps. Tom Daschle? Chris Dodd? Arlen Spector on the right? And maybe that ex-Senator from Wyoming whose name escapes me at the moment. JFK and Bobby were assholes. Their daddy was a big asshole, and Teddy is less so. But JFK Jr. transcended. Greenspan? Nope, definitely a creep. After all, economics is a creep discipline. United Nations? Creep. Canada? Just might have true liberation there. Yeah, Canada! Ireland? Assholes, definitely. England? Creeps(Just look at the royal family). But Scotland? Well, another transcendent nation, perhaps(on the strength of Sean Connery alone). Cuba. An asshole culture mired in a creep system. Very mixed up. There are many paradoxes. I'm sure you can find some yourself.
