agreed on the Fed injections with one caveat: they haven't done jach-sh*t for the market for several months. i follow the Fed's activities religiously, and we've had quite a few weeks with repos going totally overboard. it has become a bit more extreme though. i agree though on your interpretation of how the funds are working this...they HAVE to do something to stem the outflows. check in this report cross-currents.net (scroll down) the part about volume , mufu inflows and price...it's quite telling. still, near term tech may go up and the rest down...that would be entirely in character for the market.
