Why should CREE bother dealing with fake diamond maker? Shouldn't they find more noble use of blue LED in high-speed communications and wireless?

cc was very important to cree earlier. cc was a full 20% of sales at one time.
it is remarkable that cree lost a 20% customer in the past 18 months but has continued to increase sales at an astonishing clip each quarter.

think about that a moment...not only has cree grown wildly, they have also successfully replaced 20% of sales.
