My brother is looking to buy - on my recommendation - the new Passat 4Motion wagon. Just redesigned for sale in February and apparently has more usable room than the bloated and stylistically challenged Taurus wagon. It's basically the Audi A6 Avant at a 40% discount. And that's real wood in the interior.
