Thanks for the links, Don. Looking at them makes me regret public schooling - although he's in a challenging program, the International Baccalaureate program, and I am very satisfied with the English, Math and Science classes, I think Social Studies could be more challenging. It seems to me that at that age they could be reading more original sources. English classes always have original sources - like Shakespeare, poetry, and more contemporary authors. Why not the history and government classes?

And they never teach economics in high school. Maybe at an expensive prep school, I don't know.
