I find the information exchanged on this thread to be absolutely fascinating--even the history. (The 6/21 SJ Mercury News article about Nat. Semi's spinoff of Fairchild can be found at <http://cgi.sjmercury.com/business/fairchld.htm> for those who might be interested.) Thanks to all of you for sharing your wisdom.

Paul, I'd be interested to know what other tech/chip stocks you watch and/or hold. It seems that your experience in the field could help lead a non-"techie" like myself to some interesting companies.
