Zambia is a multi party democracy. Rule of Law applies. The judges even wear those ridiculous British wigs. They realize that 30 years of Nationalization did not work so they have reprivatized the mines and kept a 10% ownership. For the country to disintegrate now is very unlikely with money flowing in from countries other than Britain. The world will need their copper so the British willl keep a close eye on political developments if there were any. AIDS is a problem and the effect on the work force. Zambia has one of the best climates in the world, I lived there for 3 years way back, not difficult to get ex pat labour if necessary.
