This was a first time for that problem and of course a reboot would have made sense. I wish I new more about these machines, but that's not likely to happen.

When I was given a 386...., my first tour of duty got me into DOS where I monkied around trying to figure out what made the system function. Completly screwed it up and went after a copy of "Dummies." Before my exploration was over, I'd learned how to reload all the Dos and Windows programs from the Disk. I must have reloaded a dozen times.

Machine worked well after I stopped thinking about learning how they work...!
