all you need to do when the System Properties dealie comes up on the screen ...
clik on Performance ....
that will display
memory
resourses free
and some other stuff we can go into later ....

no need to go to advanced or try to open up anything at all

this mem free display can be used ANY TIME ...

hey 'member way back when you kept trying and trying and trying and trying to get through my thick skull bout the TPs .....HAHAHAHA .. I do ....

anyway ... I KEEP an icon down on the lower LEFT taskbar to pull up System Properties and clik on Performance to check my free mem ...
used to use a streaming chart to display it but found that manual checking cost me NO memory usage whereas the chart did ....
