Earnings

Steve,

Nice find....I think that's the one I saw on TV. The scanner looked gold.

Anyhow.....I hope folks really took a look at #1 the IRS Tax code amendment making Biometric security devices tax deductible......and #2 the Joe Biden Senate Bill creating an $80 million National Screening Center for Volunteers.

Jeeesh.....$80 million......then $25 million per year. Huge live scan.

The point of all this is...IMO....that in these "tough times"...I think government spending on live scan is still going to be expanding......I think IDX is shielded to many of the problems that are facing other tech sectors. Security may just be the place to be.

OK....Earnings....I think we may be out of the woods as far as a warning......maybe.

Does anyone know if IDX has set a date or has published a conference call playback number?

And what are we looking for?

Last quarter....IDX reported sales of about $21 million.

$7.7 million in Live scan....up 22%......but with King County and another larger contract in there.

$12.3 million in services..up 10%......$2 million from the $50 million Navy contract.

$1.5 million in IT BioID......FLAT.

I think it will be the IT area that everyone will be watching.......$3 million, for a 100% increase would be music to my ears.
