no...everybody understands these concepts these days. the sentiment measures show what the MAJORITY of participants is doing. they don't differentiate between 'smart' and 'not-so-smart' money, they only tell you that everybody's looking up. WS asset allocations to equities are at an ALL TIME HIGH, exactly the opposite of what has been seen at previous bottoms of note. momentum alone can of course carry a rally for a while...but after today, the Rydex allocation models will show a new EXTREME in bullishness, more extreme than at the very top!
