There was a newswire late today (available through Yahoo) where Uromed announced that they were letting go 32 people of the 188 they currently on staff. The main reason seems to be a poor launch of the Reliance insert. There were some positive statements about their upcoming products (and hints of more dals to come), but the news itself is negative. While it is good that they're taking actions to cut expenses, this is a sign that management has made some blunders. I think that it was a serious mistake not to seek reimbursement from insurance companies much earlier in the launch process and I'm wondering about their choice of distributors in Europe.
