Based on anecdotal evidence, I would also hesitate to combine terms "normal brains" and "New Zealand" in the same sentence. Just kidding! Actually - brain tumors are really rare. Especially compared to the lung cancer scene. So a study covering 800 brain tumor patients may seem narrow in scope... but it does cover a big chunk of population. That's the good news. My problem with many of these studies is the latency period. Let's face it; many tumors take 20 years to develop since the exposure to carcinogens. We won't find out anything really definitive until two decades after the analog phone craze took off around 1988-1990. Partly because brain tumors are rare, partly because they might take a very long time to develop. So there's time to execute a defensive shift from mobile telecom shares to the pharmaceutical industry around 2008-2010 or so. Tero
