As a regular right-hander I always hold my phone on the
left side, wired or unwired.

Keeps my right hand free for more important stuff.
(I'm mainly thinking about keyboard, rounded mice, paper
and different sizes of pens but also scratching my head,
picking my nose)

The Swedes from Lund never got that part of the population, I guess??
