Please AOL, do not sell on the news. FCC approves AOL-Time Warner deal with conditions
WASHINGTON, Jan 11 (Reuters) - The Federal Communications Commission has approved with conditions the mega-merger of America Online Inc. (NYSE:AOL - news) and Time Warner Inc. (NYSE:TWX - news), a source familiar with the situation told Reuters on Thursday.

Approval by the FCC was the final regulatory hurdle faced by the deal.

The source would not disclose what conditions would be imposed on the two companies.

The agency is set to hold a conference call at about 7:15 p.m. EST on Thursday (0015 GMT Friday) in which FCC Chairman William Kennard will make an announcement about the deal, the agency said.
