Brandmakers announces Senior management appointments
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA, - Brandmakers, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board:BMKS) announced today the appointment of Sal Veni as Chief Operating Officer and Russ Ford as President. Both Mr. Veni and Mr. Ford are long-term members of the Senior management team. The two are currently serving as Managing Directors for Zoom Communications, Brandmakers most successful and profitable division. “These moves really are an extension of our efforts to bring back a very tight focus to our business” Stated CEO Geoff Williams.
The Veni / Ford team combined to lead the successful acquisition of Multipage, LLC last year. This project transformed Zoom from just a product reseller, to reseller and manufacturer. The communications division has delivered double digit increases in both sales and profits each of the past 3 years. Under their direction Zoom is on pace to triple sales for the year ending June 30, 2001. “Sal and Russ have been with the company, in a senior management roll, for quite some time and are familiar with all fazes of the operation.” “They have owned and managed their own successful company, directed Zoom to a leadership position in the Brandmakers organization and grown this division beyond expectations in a very short period of time.” Added Williams.
Prior to joining Brandmakers the pair founded Hospitality Innovators, a restaurant consulting company, focused on restaurant paging solutions. Hospitality, now known as Zoom Communications, was sold to Brandmakers in 1998. “The fact that we have worked with Brandmakers in so many different capacities over the past few years gives us a much better understanding of the company as a whole. As we have seen in the recent past it is very hard for outsiders to come into our company and get a quick handle on the different phases of the operation” Said Veni. “I am very confident that the senior management team we have assembled now can deliver the results our employees, partners and shareholders have expected for some time now.” Added Veni.

The company's stock began public trading on the Over The Counter Bulletin Board market in October 1999.
