Your comment is short and sweet, but I'm not sure it is the complete answer. Clearly, the contract money is flowing from JMAR to SAL. But the money is ultimately from DARPA. I am not sure how that gets reflected in JMAR's income statement, but I think most of us are more interested in the long-term success of getting a product to the market. But, I would think that since the government money goes first to JMAR it gets shown as revenue to JMAR and in expense to SAL.

But most important to me is that fact that this puts JMAR under contract with SAL, which is one of only two manufacturers of steppers using xray sources. And SAL is the only manufacturer of an xray stepper which has already incorporated a point source (as opposed to a synchrotron). The previous stepper they made using a point source, of course, was one made by SRL.

Since SAL is not a public company, I dont know how big or small they are, but I have to believe that this is probably a significant contract to them and anything that sways them in favor of a JMAR source would have to be viewed as a positive to JMAR. I would also think that DARPA might have a say in how the contract money is used and that one might assume that DARPA sees JMAR's source as feasible for integration with a stepper otherwise why fund its integration with a stepper?
