Oak, your first link doesn't tell me anything about the effectiveness of taxol coated stents to reduce restentosis. Furthermore I'm not arguing against the effectiveness of radiation in reducing restentosis. But, I believe (and this was presented at the TCT conference 2000) that taxol derivative coated stents are as effective, less expensive and more easier to administer than radiation. There are alot of professional cardiologists and clinicians that would disagree with you that drug coated stents have no future.
