Yes, there is a great deal of ugliness right here on earth.

Some of Christ's most severe statements were pointed to the rich, and to the powerful. I don't recall him ever singling out the poor, or anyone else, for hating the rich, in particular. Hating in general. But no reference to hate for the rich.
